Registration Fee

Registration fee is $35 before March 9, after that and day of, the registration fee will raise to $50 includes symposium materials, continental breakfast, lunch and snacks.  Registration is limited to 175 participants.  Participants registering the day of the symposium will be responsible for their own lunch.

Lodging

Symposium registrants have their choice of a number of area hotels.

Course Description

The Leighton Heart & Vascular Symposium examines the challenges facing nurses and technologists today, providing the latest information on procedures in the fields of cardiology and interventional radiology.

Course Objective

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the role of the caregiver in ethical decision making
  • Relate how new tests/procedures impact the field of cardiovascular care
  • Discuss the newest cardiovascular procedures, studies and tests
  • Explain the risks and benefits of these procedures and tests

Accreditation

Memorial Hospital (ISNA-CNEP 09-15 12/1/12) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing center's Commission on Accreditation.

4.0 contact hours will be awarded.

Criteria for successful completion include attendance for the entire event and submission of a completed evaluation form.

American Society of Registered Technologist CEU's have been submitted for this symposium and are pending.
