Welcome to registration for the Live Interactive Planetarium Symposium!

The Notre Dame College of Science and the DVT are proud to be the second hosts of the annual symposium for planetarians committed to keeping planetarium shows live and interactive.

Continuing the tradition started August of 2011 by Digitalis Education Solutions in Bremerton, WA we will gather at Jordan Hall of Science and the Digital Visualization Theater at the University of Notre Dame on August 7th, 8th and 9th.

The Live Interactive Planetarium Symposium will provide a workshop environment that will keep all attendants working together as we explore themes including:

~Encouraging Interaction
~Live Presentation Skills and Subjects
~Outreach, Marketing and Survival Ideas

Vendor representatives will be included in as full symposiasts and will participate along with planetarium professionals, volunteers, and enthusiasts in three days of discussion and activity. We will learn about the differences in approach to live presentation in the dome, new techniques for the dome, and will build new relationships with committed dome presenters.

Check out LIPSymposium.org for discussion topics and scheduled.
